  • Break-Range Limit

  • Neutral Call

    A neutral call is a referee declaration that temporarily stops interaction with a specific player to allow inspection, ruling, or safety intervention without affecting the fairness of gameplay.

  • Neutral Player

    A neutral player is a participant temporarily removed from active engagement due to a referee intervention, used when resolving paint checks, equipment issues, or interference scenarios.

  • No-Man’s Land

    No Man’s Land is the central zone of a paintball field where both sides are exposed to heavy crossfire, making movement through this area high risk and timing dependent.

  • No-Talking Rule

    The no-talking rule prohibits eliminated players from communicating with active players, preventing unfair information sharing and maintaining competitive integrity.

  • Non-Engagement Move (Stealth Move)

    A non-engagement move is any repositioning action performed without firing, prioritizing stealth, speed, or timing to avoid drawing attention or triggering opponent reactions.

  • Open Lane Space

    An Open Lane Space is any unoccupied region of the field that lacks bunkers or player presence, often acting as a gap affecting movement, lane exposure, and tactical risk.

  • Zone Control Node

    A zone control node is a bunker or location that strongly influences several nearby zones, acting as an anchor point for controlling movement, lanes, and pressure in that part of the field.
