Details
A power position is a bunker with outsized strategic value due to its angle control, depth influence, and survivability potential. These positions often anchor major pushes, support wide players, and lock down mid grid transitions.
Power positions typically include: Forward Dorito wedges Snake 50 beams Center 50 structures Dominant midline wedges
These bunkers grant players the ability to apply pressure across the field, eliminate opponents through crossfire opportunities, and create leverage for coordinated collapses. Occupying a power position at the right time can prevent opponents from bumping, stall pushes, or open kill lanes.
Good power position play requires exceptional awareness. The player must multitask between holding lanes, switching sides, communicating, and reading pressure accurately. Overextending from a power position can lead to unnecessary eliminations, while disciplined patience allows teammates to capitalize on the positional advantage.
