Details
A key zone is an important area of the field that shapes movement and engagement opportunities. Unlike a key bunker, a key zone may be open space, a gap between bunkers, or a crossing point opponents must pass through.
Controlling a key zone allows a team to restrict opponent movement, deny access to strong angles, and dictate which side of the field becomes dominant.
Examples of key zones include: Gaps between mid field bunkers Wide tape corners Deep central lanes Open spaces behind powerful positions
Because key zones lack hard cover, they require timing, awareness, and active pressure from teammates positioned nearby.
