Details
A kill lane is a pre planned shooting lane aimed at an area where opponents are expected to move. Because players must run through certain chokepoints or wide openings when advancing to bunkers, these paths become prime targets.
Kill lanes are created by shooting consistently into these movement routes, preventing opponents from safely crossing. The effectiveness of a kill lane depends on steady aim, good paint volume, and accurate predictions of opponent behavior.
Teams often coordinate multiple kill lanes at the start of a point (the breakout) to catch players running to key bunkers. During mid game, kill lanes can also block opponents from making critical moves.
A strong kill lane forces opponents to hesitate, slow down, or take less favorable routes, giving your team early control of the field.
