Details

A wide push is executed when players advance along the far left or right edge of the field commonly called the tape line. This area provides some of the strongest angles in paintball because players can wrap around defenders and shoot deep into their bunker structure.

Wide pushes are often used to: Break defensive teams Capture key bunkers on the tape Force opponents to rotate and give up center control

The player pushing wide usually receives cover fire from mid and back players to suppress defenders. Once the tape is controlled, the pushing player can collapse the field by shooting inward.

Wide pushes require timing, awareness, and strong lane control.
