Details
Return fire is the act of shooting back quickly after an opponent fires at you. This prevents the opponent from dominating the angle and forces them to respect your presence.
If a player does not return fire, opponents gain confidence, widen their angles, and shoot more aggressively, eventually pinning the player down.
Good return fire includes: Quick, accurate snaps from tight positions. Staying calm under pressure. Timing shots when the opponent transitions or repositions.
It is not about trading shots recklessly it is about interrupting enemy control, showing that you can shoot back, and keeping the angle contested.
