Details
A reset point is a tactical pause in aggression where a team regroups to rebuild structure after the field becomes unstable. This commonly occurs after early game trades, failed bumps, or sudden eliminations.
During a reset point, players tighten up their bunkers, reinforce lanes, and restore communication. Instead of pushing blindly or reacting emotionally, the team returns to a stable formation where they can evaluate body count, angles, and risk.
Resetting prevents teams from cascading into further losses especially important when a front player dies and teammates need time to adjust zones. Similarly, after gaining an elimination advantage, a reset gives the team a moment to coordinate the timing of a push.
Elite teams use reset points deliberately, ensuring they control tempo rather than being forced into frantic scrambles.
